Sen. Jean Berkey, D-Everett, has been presented with a 2009 Business Champion Award by the Joint Government Affairs Committee of the Joint Snohomish County Chambers of Commerce.
Berkey and other state lawmakers were recognized for supporting legislation to improve the business climate in Snohomish County and the state.
The awards were handed out June 3rd at the Joint Snohomish County Chambers of Commerce Legislative Recognition Breakfast held at the Everett Golf & Country Club.
