OLYMPIA –William Brugato of Federal Way recently participated in the Senate Page Program. 

Each week selected students from across Washington come to Olympia to learn about the legislative process and help the Senate run smoothly.  Pages carry mail between offices and relay messages to the Senate floor. Pages also attend page school where they participate in mock hearings, write their own bills, and engage in debates.

The mock committee hearing was a highlight for Brugato.  “You get to ask people questions and call people out if you think it’s untrue.”

Brugato is a student at Todd Beamer High School.  He enjoys math , chess and tennis.
