Senate Bill 6508 would change the class of persons entitled to recoveries under a wrongful death or survival action. The legislation caused serious debate in both chambers in the last few weeks of the regular session. On March 11th, Sen. Gordon urged the Senate to concur with House amendments to the bill to help grieving families.
