Sen. Claudia Kauffman opened a local office this week at 10427 SE 244th St. in Kent. Kauffman says she opened a local office because “it’s easier and more convenient for constituents to visit and call me without having to go to Olympia,” she said, “it’s a way to be closer with the people I represent when the legislature isn’t in session.”
Kauffman invites anyone interested to come by the new office. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. She can be reached by phone at (253) 372-5748.
Kauffman is vice chair of the Senate Education Committee. Her legislative district includes parts of Kent, Auburn, Covington, Black Diamond, Maple Valley and Renton.
