WENATCHEE - Educators from North Central Washington sat down with Sens. Rosemary McAuliffe and Eric Oemig today to talk about our state's education system and new efforts for public education funding and reform.![]()
Today's stop in Wenatchee is the last of a nine-city listening tour organized by McAuliffe and Oemig, who serve as chair and vice-chair of the Senate education committee.
Both senators have visited each of the state's nine Educational Service District headquarters: Vancouver, Renton, Olympia, Anacortes, Bremerton, Yakima, Pasco and Spokane. In all, about 500 teachers have participated in the discussions.
