I am still on the Senate floor where we passed the operating budget by a vote of 29-20 hours ago (I voted in favor, see below). Since then we passed the Transportation Budget, which was before us as a Conference Committee report. Now we are debating House Bill 1776 that would, again due to the budget, delay the implementation of the state Family Medical Leave Act. Six more bills and we are done until 9 am in the morning.
If it’s after midnight but we are still working, is it still the 104th Legislative Day, or is it already the 105th Legislative Day?
