Sen. Rolfes has opened a new district office in Poulsbo City Hall, where citizens can bring their concerns and ideas, as well as schedule a meeting with the senator.

The lease on a new office in the 23rd Legislative District was recently approved by the Poulsbo City Council. It includes an agreement with the state to lease a conference room that will be used not only as Rolfes’ district office, but as a place for local meetings with Rolfes and her seatmates in the House, state Representatives Sherry Appleton, D-Poulsbo, and Drew Hansen, D-Bainbridge Island.

“My job is to represent the people of the 23rd District, and I’m pleased to offer another way for folks to get in touch with me,” Rolfes said. “Our location in Poulsbo City Hall is convenient for the public, and I thank the city for welcoming us. I invite anyone with a question, an idea or a concern to contact us in Poulsbo.”

“The City of Poulsbo welcomes the 23rd legislative delegation to Poulsbo City Hall,” Poulsbo Mayor Rebecca Erickson said. “Senator Rolfes has an office in a great location to conveniently serve the citizens of our district, with a meeting room for Representatives Appleton and Hansen as well.”

Senator Rolfes will host an office open house on Saturday June 23rd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
