Hello,
Thank you for visiting my Senate webpage. It's an honor to have been chosen to represent our communities in the Legislature. We have a diverse group of people and communities in our district.
My roots in the 26th District are deep; I was born in Bremerton, where my father and mother worked in health care. Today I live in Gig Harbor with my family. It’s a privilege to represent our area in the Senate and to advocate for our shared priorities. That list includes helping to create good jobs for families, improving and supporting our education system so all our children can succeed in the global economy, and improving health care – a topic close to my heart as a medical doctor. Too many people in our district and state are hurting. There is more we can do to help and I hope that their stories will inspire real change.
