Cleveland’s prescription bill passes Senate

Pharmacists in Washington would be able to fill prescriptions written by out-of-state physician assistants under legislation passed unanimously today by the state Senate.

Senate Bill 5524, sponsored by Sen. Annette Cleveland, D-Vancouver, would simplify and streamline an unnecessarily cumbersome process, particularly for those who live in border communities. You can read more about the legislation here.
