Senate committee work is in high gear this week, as bills are amended, heard and advanced for consideration of the entire Senate. The deadline for most bills to leave policy committees is Friday.

A few highlights for later in the day include work on public records laws, laws regarding liquor distribution and beer and wine tasting, and managing the state’s Workfirst program for low-income families.
