At annual legislative session preview hosted by the Associated Press, Senate Democratic Leader Ed Murray said his caucus is committed to producing results in the Senate, despite uncertainty about the structure of the chamber.

"We're going to govern, and we're going to govern responsibly," said Murray.

Helping the middle class will be the Democrat’s top priority, he added, naming addressing rising tuition costs at colleges and universities, advancing health care reform, and reaching agreement on funding K-12 education as parts of that effort.
