Today Senate staff gathered briefly to wish out-going Secretary of the Senate Tom Hoemann well.

Secretary of the Senate since January 2005, Hoemann earned the respect of members and staff on both sides of the aisle for his evenhanded methods in conducting the Senate's business. He spent virtually his entire career in the Senate since after graduating law school 30 years ago.
